ASU Ira Fulton Schools of Enginnering
SMECA awards $3000 annually, renewable up to five years, to approximately six incoming undergraduate students in the Ira Fulton Schools of Engineering who demonstrate the capacity to become community, industry, and engineering leaders.
Recipients must have demonstrated their commitment by participating in science, math and engineering competitions during high school including: American Math Challenge Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE's ROV Competitions) Math Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) Test of Engineering Aptitude in Math and Science (TEAMS) VEX Robotics For more information: engineering.asu.edu/scholarships/smeca
Maricopa Community Colleges are now accepting the 2013-2014 Presidents' Scholarship applications. New high school graduates in the top 15% of their graduating class or earning high scores on Maricopa placement tests may qualify for up to 15 credits of college tuition in scholarships ($1,155). Phoenix Suns Charities is sponsering a scholarship program for seniors enrolled in Arizona high schools. They will award 15 scholarships of $2,000 each and one $5,000, to recognize students for their writing skills and community involvement. Murphy Dental Scholarship
General Requirements: The Murphy Orthodontics Scholarship Program awards a $500 scholarship to be applied towards tuition, books, fees, housing or related expenses. Eligibility: Scholarship applicants must currently be in orthodontic treatment, or have completed orthodontic treatment by Dr. C. Chris Murphy. Applications will be accepted from graduating seniors who plan to continue their education for at least one year. The scholarship winner will be determined based on his/her academic achievement, essay, and involvement in school and community activities. Procedure: Scholarship applicants must complete and sign the application form and submit the following to be received at our office by March 21, 2013: 1) Application form with photo 2) Current transcript or class schedule 3) Essay 4) Verification of acceptance at a college or technical school See Documents and Files for application.
John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital Volunteers are pleased to announce that they are accepting applications for their health care scholarship. These scholarships are provided for students seeking a career in a health related program. Scholarships must be used at an instituion in the state of Aizona. Application deadline is May 1, 2012.
