Purchasing System

Scottsdale Christian Academy uses a computerized cashiering system, or point of sale (P.O.S.) in our food service program. It works like a debit account with a “PIN”. (Personal identification number)

Each student is assigned a personal account and pin number. This number is the same number that your child uses when checking out books from the library. The student enters their pin number when making purchases. The scanner is user-friendly for kids and only used for breakfast and lunch purchases.

We encourage students to deposit money to their accounts instead of bringing money daily. This speeds up the process and reduces lines at breakfast and lunch. We suggest using the MyNutriKids website as described above.

Cashiers will notify students in advance when their deposited funds are getting low. Account balances will rollover to the next year unless a written request for a refund is made.
